The air temperterature was 0 degrees, then a lilttle later dropped down a 1/2 degree. also, I think i heard the exact same thing about wanting to claim the wreak, but don't know if it is true.l

the temp in the air was 32 and the water was 27 F.

Actually, it was 28 degrees in the water.
