I know there is someone in the area were I live that had a life vest from the Titanic, when they found out it was from Titanic, they put it away in a very very safe place (after they found that out and how much it was worth when they alone just bought it at a sale).

Titanic4ever,
Can you imagine being at a sale, whether flea market or garage sale and seeing something you know is Titanic and knowing you will have it for next to nothing. I would not be able to drive home I would be so excited. Betty |

Yeah, but at the time, they did not know it was from the Titanic. That's what was so funny.

[quote:571d4695c4="Betty"]Do you ever wonder how many things are still out there somewhere hidden away in someone's attic, etc.
Wonder what will "surface" on the 100th anniversary?[/quote:571d4695c4] Maybe some lost pictures of Titanic at sea or maybe a lost film footage showing the inside. That would be worth more than gold to me! |

maybe they are just deliberately forgetting and keeping it
so that indeed in the 100th century their portofolio is suddenly 10000% more worth. |
