Is it King Kong vs Titanic now? It seems that King Kong could finally knock Titanic from the top. What do you all think of this movie? Just from trailors and the general idea? Personally I have never liked the story line/concept, and I still don't. Even the name is annoying to me. I think they've hyped the movie way too much (producer has Lord of the Rings behind him of course). I'm sure the movie is good, just not one I have to go see in the theaters, and I don't think it needed all the hype it's gotten here.

A very good question... Will Kong win?
I don't think so, but who knows? Only time will tell. Nobody thought Titanic was going to do good. And look what happened. Personally I hope nothing ever beats Titanic. Pipe dream, I know. But Titanic is still at the top of the list for me. |

But seriously, if a movie was to beat Titanic I was hoping it would be something of good substance, fictional or not. Even the title "King Kong" gets to me. Always has for some strange reason. As far as I'm concerned, there are just too many King Kong remakes out there to even really give rap about that big ape.

yesterday i watched the movie (King Kong) yeaa i must admite it's wonderful masterpice..
Peter Jackson is a really really excellent director.. i enjoy all the movie.. yup King Kong VS Titanic.. it will be interesting! hehe lol i just loved the movie, but i still like titanic more... since 1997.. i have not seen a movie as Titanic.. not even The Lord Of The rings ( i must say it really impressed me) well, just The Lord Of The Rings Two Towers and King Kong are the movies that have impressed me that much beside Titanic .. still, you guys must watch the movie! you won't regret it! |

Take The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, for instance. Now that is a different story. I bet it will long surpass KK by a long shot. Perhaps even be nominated for Best Picture for the upcoming Academy Awards...because it has substance in its message which KK sadly lacks.
