Thanks, for that, but unfortuanly I dont think it sanked like that. I know it is one of the ways, there are alot more, but that one is the one I think is not real.

I believe it. Anything is possible. We weren't therew so we don't know and I don't think anyone will know the truth since the wreck is slowly disapearing and we have no more actual survivors who remember anything. But I believe that anyhting is possible. I also saw a video on youtube about that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zw1HHpyxCP8

I dont believe that is how it sanked. I mean the back did not go straight up like survivors reported it. So right there that one is not true. Most survivors said it stayed straight up at a 90 degree angle for about 1 min. That one did not show it like that.

we can attempt to put together the pieces of this mystery about how Titanic sank, but we'll never really know. If we find out a reasonable answer how will we know it's right? Everyone here probably has different ideas about Titanic. Everyone here sort of has their own "Titanic world" where the ideas that they believe are just their own thoughts. We can argue about what happened all we want but the truth is, that won't bring us any closer to solving it. We have to try and find someway to preserve the history of Titanic for the next generations who won't have a Titanic anymore. Once the wreckage is gone, it will be gone for good. Everyone of us is different and we all have our different takes on what happened that night. It's good to share our ideas.
sincerely, Kelly. |

That break up is probably the most likely of all the theroies, because it split in two stages, this would account for why half the survivers said it was intact and the others said it split, depending on where you where looking, and at what time, you could argue either or. Cant argue with it as the wreck evidense support's it, I never thought the films description (1997 TITANIC) was how it happened, bt as that was a movie, its dramatised, the ship couldnt possibly do that in real life. Also that theroy would also allow for the story about the baker etc to be true, so atleast in my opinion that indeed IS how titanic sank.

yes they did...but 2 things to remember, there were conflicting survivor stories(many people saw the same thing many different ways)some even said they never saw it break up...next the whole clip showed the ship sink in less than 10 seconds..so as for how long after the split up before it completly went under was never even brought up..... |

Lets remember it was minus 1 degrees outside and just about every one was delusional from the cold way too frightened to notice what was going on or they were looking part time and then looked away so all acusations were somewhat unacurate unless someone was staring at the sinking for the whole 2 hours it sunk I dont think we can determine xactly what happened from statements of survivors but somehow we have gotten an idea. And just an idea there isnt a definite way to know how it sunk but we do know at one point the ship did crack because of the acusations, statements etc and the phsical evidence at the wreck site which we all know now the titanic is cracked in half.
