The definition that people have for bullying can differ in time and place - there was much class distinction on the [i:244692eb3f]Titanic[/i:244692eb3f] that could pass for bullying today when it was not so considered so then. There were also several incidents when the boats were being filled of men trying to board and being thrown out, that kind of thing - even warning shots being fired. But that really doesn't go under "bullying", does it?

One thing that comes to mind for me is Lightoller not allowing Billy Carter into boat 4, then when his father says "Of course the boy goes, he is only thirteen!" Lightoller allowing him in (with bad grace) and muttering "No more boys."

Was that bullying? I would say yes, and I would say two ways, that Mr. Carter used his oomph to get the kid in the boat. Depends on your definition.
