i dont think cal was a jerk in the movie......

1. its 1912, most men were brought up to think less of women

2. i would probably frame a the guy who my feiansiee cheated with too.

3. he loved rose, you can tell, because in one of the deleted clips, he thinks he finds rose, and he sounds like hes about to cry.....

yes, but money isn't everything. she felt like life was wayy boring and that it was practically the same everyday. how would u like it if ur life was the same thing everyday?? i sure wouldn't. talk about BORING.
and her life might not have been as bad as she made it seem. i'd love to have all that money. and besides cal was rude. he has someone babysit her every minute of everyday. she hated it. Jack made her life interesting. she neva knew wat was ahead of her when she was with him. he was surprising.

money isn't everything true. and my life is the same everyday but i live with it. i think girls just always take jack's side because too them he is the "perfect guy", and hes not. the reason why cal had lovejoy watvhing her all of the time was most likely because rose was still a girl of 17. and cal was probley brought up to thin lower of lower class folk, and if she was with jack she lied about where she was.

just because i'm a girl doesn't mean i think Jack is perfect. now when i was younger i did think that. now i have a bf and i don't believe jack to be the perfect guy. i think my bf is the perfect guy. and at that time period, 17 was concidered a very mature age. i mean she was getting married for crying out loud. when i turn 17 i won't want to be babysat by anyone. i should be the one babysitting someone else, which i do already.

and of course she lied about being with jack. he was someone she barely knew and her mother nor cal approved of him. so i don't blame her. and at some points i do feel bad for cal because he did love her, but he was over protective. he treated her like he was her dad. and he was her fiance. ur not a girl titanic charlie so i don't expect u to understand my points. and because ur a guy u prolly don't think that i understand ur points. so we have our different points because we r of the opposite gender. we can keep going because i could debate this subject foreva if ya let me. now i'm off to go to bed. so good night.

Well I think cal thought of rose as a throphy
Like something of his property which gives him the ''right'' to command her
So clearing that point plus rose's dreams and frustration
is obvious to think they wouldn't be able to stay a happy couple
adding another thing

she was with him against her wishes, it was basically her mom's idea..
